Claudia González Godoy

She is a visual artist, professor at the “Escuela de Arte y Cultura Visual” of “Universidad Arcis”. Her research interests concern the notion of materiality in analog and digital technology supports, with special attention to the relationship between hi-fi and low-fi technology. She has held numerous workshops and conferences on art, Open Hardware, electronic experimentation and DIY culture at various festivals such as LIWOLI (Australia), SOL (Spain), EEII (Croatia), FILE (Brazil), Sudex (Argentina) and Festival de la Imagen de Manizales (Colombia). After being director of the Art and Technology Laboratory Project Chimbalab (2008/2012), she is currently an independent artist / researcher and organizer of educational projects about art and technology.

Fernando Godoy

He is a sound artist, sound engineer and musician who lives and works in Valparaíso. His work focuses on sound and on listening as temporal and cultural phenomena within geographies and territories. His works, that include sound installations, web projects, experimental concerts an actions in the acoustic space, were submitted in Chile, Peru, Canada, Estonia, Italy, Australia and Germany. He is currently director of the Tsonami Sound Art Festival, co-editor of the “Rivista de Arte Sonoro y Cultura Aural”, director and editor of Radio Tsonami.

Rainer Krause

He was born in Hoyer Hagen, Germany, in 1957. Since 1987 he lives and works in Santiago de Chile as a visual and sound artist. He holds a Master Degree in Visual Arts at the University of Chile, where he currently is a lecturer. Since 1985, Krause has exhibited personal exhibitions in Germany, Chile, Spain and Canada, taking part as well in group exhibitions in Latin America, Europe and the United States. Since 2005 he has been working as a curator for exhibitions, events and artistic projects related to sound.

Alejandra Perez Nuñez

She is an independent artist and member of a diverse group of researchers and writers who study the relationships between the electromagnetic environment and the industrial economy. As a sound performer that works also with Open Source tools, she regularly participates in projects involving the radio, the performance and the social science fiction. She has graduated in Aesthetics and Psychology, with a Master Degree in Media Design at the Piet Zwart Institute of Rotterdam and is a PhD candidate at Westminster University in London, she currently lives in Valparaíso, Chile.

Sebastián Jatz Rawicz

He is a composer and sound artist. In 2008 he founded the Arsomnis project, with he created John Cage's "Musicircus", “Vexations" by Erik Satie and "Reunion” by John Cage (and Marcel Duchamp). Along with ala1RECS, he performed about 30 concerts under the name of ”&” ( www.et-musica.cl). Recently he presented "Cien Acordes Geométricos Extendidos" at PumaLab (www.arsomnis.com/100acordes) and "Los Cuatro Estandartes del Arte Contemporáneo" in CCE. He published translations of Jan Fabre’s plays and three books about John Cage’s interviews with the publisher Metales Pesados.
