Interferenze chooses the suggestive Ducal Castle as location for its 2010 edition. The castle has been recently restored and it's one of the architectural gems of the entire easter area of Irpinia.
Built in the 8th century during a Lombard domination, the castle represents one of the most important and best preserved historical monument of the whole province.Hunting Lodge of Federico II, it has lately been home of Torquato Tasso.
Today it houses a museum, which hosts important archaeological rests of Samnite necropolis discovered in a series of archaeological excavations. The recent refurbishing works have transformed the entire structure in an exhibition center.
