Rurality 2.0 Yasuhiro Morinaga

Yasuhiro Morinaga is a sound designer specialized in recording. He has worked at different project related to cinema, contemporary dance, installations, theater and Product Design. His interests move as well towards field recording, with a peculiar attention to the aural community of natural and concrete environments. His eclectic approach to sound design has been presented in different project participating to the most important cinematographic festivals around the world: Cannes, Venice, Berlin and Toronto. His live performances carry the audience towards different spaces and times through the use of sonic narratives of recording sand manipulations.  Yasuhiro is founder of CONCRETE, a project which is at the same time a live event and an academic symposium that takes place every year in Tokyo, Japan.
