The Department of Communication Science at the University of Salerno sponsors Interferenze 2005 with its direct involvement in the content production of the ‘talk-workshop’ section, which consists of seminars about video-communication, software art, and Information Society in the peripheral areas of South Italy. Students are invited to participate in these seminars, and will have the opportunity to gain credits from the University. It will be a useful chance to meet artists, researchers and experts with whom to discuss multimedia arts, digital culture, and information and communication technologies for rural areas.

This beneficial cooperation between Interzona and University of Salerno demonstrates the association’s will to enter into a creative dialogue with other groups and organizations located in the provinces of Avellino, Salerno, Caserta, Benevento and Potenza. Interzona believes that the promotion of creativity and innovation can be fostered by networks of collaboration, and this networking activity will be an asset for Interzona’s future.
