Frame is Davide Mastropaolo and Leandro Sorrentino: the project was born in 2001, during the soundtrack composition of "L'inverno", a movie directed by Nina Di Majo, for the 56th edition of Berlin Film Festival.
Frame is mainly a project that conceives the soundtrack as a own genre, that proposes an original way of working and that chooses as main expressive way the electronic music as multilevel manipulation of synthetic and acoustic sources, from real to artificial sounds.
The Frame music is near more to a sound concept than to music tout-court.
Among Frame productions there are also the soundtrack of the films "La Visita" (director Andrea De Rosa) and "Ritratto di Bambino" (director Gianluca Iodice).
