Real name: Stefan Schwander. alias: A Rocket In Dub, Antonelli, Antonelli Electr., Rhythm Maker and, obviously, Repeat Orchestra that is the project where Schwander presents the purest form of his electronic soul, through a live performance that they could defined like "orchestral" deep- house performance. Unlike usual house sounds that by the time we can listen to them everywhere, the productions of this project of the German eclectic artist have a much darker approach than normal house. Repeat Orchestra is the project of a one-man-band that loves expressing his personal soul, merging deep chords, live played pieces and loop moments. The result is a warm musical and amazing expression that surrounds the dancefloor with a full of soul sound.
Repeat Orchestra and the label Touch of Class are the places where Schwander proposes his reinterpretation of the sound of Detroit and moreover of Larry Heard and of the originary sound of Chicago according to modern sensibility and technologies. Now, take the sound, the beats and the technique of his publications as Antonelli Electr., in other words deep minimal techno in one of its better forms, and try to mix them with a little of sane old school and you will obtain pieces where the synthesis between the classicism of Detroit and futurism, between tradition and vanguard is perfect: "a sort of abandon of the senses that now has the outlines of a sunny beach, now a starry night's ones, now the outlines of a solitaire walk along a metropolis' streets. Dim but not desperate, nostalgic for his cross-references to the past and gloomy for his walking solemnly but in a positive way and paradoxically sunny.
