Emanuele Errante and Mattia Casalegno are going to perform at Interferenze 2006 "Info_naturae 1.0", an experimental audio-visual performance based on digital soundscapes and acoustic carpets resulting in a continuously changing pixelled matrix and in zoomorphic shapes moving in organic and inorganic, animated and inanimate, natural and abstract environments. Frames of analogic experiences and digital creations are mixed together in real time with evocative and striking effects. Inspired by Plato's myth of the Cave, this performance creates illusions and sets the audience free from those illusions, just like arts do. Illusions are the chains tieing the prisoners of the cave but at the same time they are their own projections and those chains identify their sensitiveness. "Our world was inhabited by anthropomorphic shadows and shapes projected on the rocks. We believed those shapes and those echoed sounds were real. We kept on believing it until we got to break the chains".
